Upgrading your laptop memory

Brand preference when buying anything is usually a factor for me. When buying computers, I prefer either dell or apple computers as I find it really great and quite easy to use. With my current Apple laptop, quite recently, I needed to upgrade my Apple memory as it was starting to slow down a bit as it seemed the laptop memory could not handle all the applications and software installed in there. In the process of searching for that computer ram , I tried searching for some to upgrade my other computer as it also needed an upgrade for the soon. At least I found the memory modules I needed to keep my apple laptop unit working better and help me speed up the desktop computer I use for back-up.
